Dark secrets of real-life ‘Bunga Bunga’ sex parties which led to ‘orgy’ scandals and ‘murder’ mystery

POSING in bikinis and popping champagne, a harem of stunning Italian models were pictured partying the night away this week after being flown in by Man City stars.

The wild scenes, however, have nothing on Silvio Berlusconi’s notorious Bunga Bunga sex parties, which have sparked a series of shocking scandals.

The sordid soirees, thrown by the randy former Italian PM, have seen claims of everything from underage sex and Satanic rituals to a disturbing ‘murder’ riddle.

While Berlusconi has described the events at his mansion near Milan as “elegant dinners”, a string of stunning women have described nights of topless dancing, stripteases and role play.

Dozens have claimed they were even paid to take part in sex games, with the playboy politician calling the women “my little girls” and allegedly asking them to kiss a statue’s penis.

Topless dancing, stripteases and boob ‘kisses’

“Fifteen minutes after we’d sat down, some of the girls uncovered their breasts, offering them to Berlusconi so he could kiss them,” recalled one model, Ambra Battilana, who claimed she was invited to one of the then-prime minister’s infamous Bunga Bunga parties in 2010.

“They also touched the Prime Minister’s intimate parts and made him touch theirs.

“While this was happening, the girls were still singing ‘thank goodness for Silvio!’ and calling the Prime Minister ‘Papi’ and Berlusconi called all of us ‘my little girls, my little girls”.”

Berlusconi’s bizarre request

The Bunga Bunga ‘orgies’ first emerged in 2010, when Berlusconi called a Milan police station to tell officials to release a teenager held on suspicion of stealing a 3,000 euro (£2,570) bracelet.

Berlusconi’s lawyers said he made the call to avoid a diplomatic incident because he believed Karima El Mahroug, then 17, was the granddaughter of then-Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

In reality, Karima was a nightclub dancer and prostitute.

She would later claim she had attended Berlusconi’s Bunga Bunga bashes, where she witnessed girls dressed in costumes “raising their skirts” and acting in a “sensual way” around him.

‘Underage prostitute’ probe

Following Berlusconi’s call to police, prosecutors launched a probe, believing the now-83-year-old had been anxious to cover up his actions at his secretive Bunga Bunga bashes.

And before long, Berlusconi was being accused of paying to sleep with Karima, whose stage name was ‘Ruby the Heart Stealer’, then abusing his powers by getting her freed from custody.

In Italy, paying for sex with a girl aged under 18 is a crime.

While Berlusconi denied the allegations, he quickly became the subject of one of Italy’s most high-profile and mesmerising cases – and made ‘Bunga Bunga’ a household phrase.

Kinky ‘policewoman’ snap

In March 2011, police investigating Berlusconi’s X-rated ‘dinner parties’ discovered kinky photos of TV showgirl Barbara Guerra, taken at the billionaire’s villa in the middle of the night.

Among them were snaps of her naked and wearing a sexy ‘police’ uniform.

Despite the provocative images, Barbara later claimed she’d simply attended a “very normal dinner” at the PM’s home, and described him as a “second father”, The Times reported.

But the following month, model Ambra and another beauty queen, Chiara Danese, claimed they were invited to one of Berlusconi’s Bunga Bunga dos, where he was “electrified” to see them.

The 18-year-old Miss Italy contestants told prosecutors that female guests were dancing around erotically, with some dressed in skimpy nurse costumes and brandishing whips.

‘Girls gave him a quick feel’

They also claimed Berlusconi passed around a statue of the pagan god Priapus which had a disproportionate phallus – and asked the women to kiss it, according to the newspaper.

“At this point all the girls started to do erotic things to each other,” the pair testified, adding that the bizarre scenes unfolded while the group was having dinner. “The girls started to get up every so often to go to the prime minister and give him ‘a quick feel’ of his intimate parts.”

Ambra and Chiara eventually fled in terror.

And though Berlusconi dismissed their account as “disgusting”, other witnesses in the case described receiving gifts of cash and jewellery for sex at the mogul’s villa.

Caged for sex crime… then acquitted

During the parties, a court heard that Berlusconi was the one who decided when to begin “the so-called ‘Bunga Bunga’, where his guests would work to satisfy his desires.

The women would aim to “make him feel bodily pleasures’… performing pole dances, striptease, dressing in disguises and fondling each other”, it was alleged.

In June 2013, Berlusconi – who has also been infamously entangled in fraud and corruption scandals – was convicted of the charges against him and jailed for seven years.

He was also banned him from public office for life.

However, he was later acquitted of both charges on appeal.

‘Murder’ mystery

For years the Bunga Bunga scandal appeared to be behind Berlusconi – but last year, it reared its head again following the mysterious death of Moroccan party guest, Imane Fadil.

The 34-year-old model had been a star witness at Berlusconi’s trial, claiming she witnessed stripteases at his ‘orgies’ and that he personally gave her 2,000 euros in cash one night.

She was planning a tell-all book, revealing how ‘Satanic rituals’ were performed at the bashes.

She was also due to take the stand at another trial in which Berlusconi is currently embroiled – where he is accused of paying a witness to give false testimony about his parties.

It’s perhaps unsurprising then that Imane’s death has been shrouded in speculation – with her family claiming she was fatally poisoned and had “purple” bruises all over her body.

An autopsy reportedly found that Imane died from natural causes. Yet her grieving relatives have demanded a fresh examination, declaring they are “absolutely not satisfied”.

Today, amid Berlusconi’s latest trial for alleged bribery, his ‘orgies’ have become so notorious that the phrase Bunga Bunga has its own Wikipedia page and has inspired events in the UK.

And while there’s no suggestion that any of Manchester City’s 22 party companions participated in any sexual acts during their bash, the Italian models certainly appeared to be having a wild time – with bottles of champagne and plush £150-a-night hotel rooms.

“They are very beautiful and looked like they had a really fun time,” a source told  The Sun.

“I assume the players did too.”
