A KILLER husband has been caged for life after a jury took just ten minutes to convict him of the murder of his wife.
Sick Patrick Lambert stabbed his wife, Anastacia Oaikhena, 27, in the neck 20 times before stuffing her body into her own fridge at her flat in Houston, Texas.
The Houston Chronicle reports, after the brutal murder in 2014, Lambert fled with his then 11-month-old son to Mexico.
He had emailed his wife’s workplace informing them she would not be returning due to a “family tragedy,” which Prosecutor Nathan Moss said was the “smoking gun” in the case.
Moss said Lambert had assumed an alias and was living in a small village.
He was arrested in December that year after an electricity supply to the apartment was cut off and neighbours complained of a bad smell as his wife’s corpse began to rot.
An autopsy revealed that Anastacia had died from 20 stab wounds to her neck – and that her body had been well preserved due to the refrigeration process.

Bizarrrely, Lambert chose to defend himself in court telling the jury: “What I do have is you, for you guys to be logical thinkers.
“The state attorney, the offence, is going to attempt to point the finger at me as the person who killed Ana Lambert.”
The jury only took ten minutes to sentence him to life behind bars, and ordered him to pay a $10,000 (£7,726) fine.
